WGA 2017 Golf Tournament Sponsored Award

This scholarship was funded by the actual total scholarship donations made at last year's WGA 32nd Annual Golf Tournament that was held at Twin Lakes Golf & Country Club. Our 33rd Annual WGA Golf Tournament will be held at Twin Lakes Golf & Country Club in Federal Way, WA on Friday, September 7, 2018.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet ONE of the following criteria:

  • an owner of a Washington Glass Association (WGA) current member firm or
  • an employee of a current WGA member firm or
  • a child or spouse of either

AND meet ALL of the following criteria:

  1. Plan to enroll either full-time or part-time at an accredited two-year or four-year college, university or vocational technical training school within one year from date of application. Post-graduate education is also acceptable. Member company must be a WGA member at the time the application is dated.
  2. Have performed volunteer work or community service.
  3. Include a letter of reference.
  4. Include an essay regarding career goals.
